WNED-TV KID FEST – Royal Botanical Gardens: Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019
WNED-TV is excited to announce their first-ever Kid Fest in Canada! Children and parents can enjoy a fun-filled family day filled with meet-and-greets with beloved PBS KIDS characters, as well as an assortment of activities, prizes, and more. Various organizations from around the community participate — presenting live performances, crafts, and giveaways for those who attend. In a magical underwater kingdom, the independent young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home – and fins – behind and live in the world above. Marz Homes Family Concert Experience: McIntyre Performing Arts Centre, Mohawk College, Saturday, Feb 2, 2019
Children, family and friends experience a full-day of symphony-themed fun with the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra. A morning of activities is followed by an interactive, one-hour full concert that lets the audience help the orchestra dream up a brand new piece. Featuring bottle-music, hosaphones, snake-charming oboes, powerful trumpets and more, this performance keeps children laughing and learning about the orchestra.
