The event took place yesterday in Regina, SK and Vancouver-raised Carly Rae Jepsen receives the trophy for Album of the Year (kiss) and single of the Year (Call me Maybe).
Wow, I feel so blessed, said Jepsen during her acceptance speech. It’s crazy how one song can change your life.
The five times platinum “Call Me Maybe” has sold more than 9.1 million singles worldwide and climbed to No. 1 in more than 37 countries, including the U.S., where it spent a record-breaking nine weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100.
